In the spring of 2010 our community lost a fine young man, Frederick J. Morganti. Freddy was a fun-loving, bright, energetic 13 year old that loved sports and was liked by all. His main interests were baseball, football and wrestling and Freddy excelled at all of them. As the 2010 baseball season was about to begin, he became ill and died unexpectedly the morning of his first Middle School baseball game.
In his memory, his parents have created scholarships to be awarded to three graduating seniors of Mynderse Academy that excels and loves the sports Freddy enjoyed.
